Artful Reflections
Available as needed, Athena Project’s latest program offering, Artful Reflections, is designed to uplift women visual artists. Because the pandemic led to isolation and disconnection, we share this opportunity as a way to connect artists with each other and their communities.

A gallery (owned by or featuring work curated by women* artists) is the ideal location for this event. Our intention is for the art to increase the participants’ understanding of themselves and others. Featured women artists are invited to join in-person and listen to the impact of their art on everyday people.

Starting at $250, this event can be booked through our Curating Arts for Impact Program Coordinator, Olivia Buntaine, and aims to create a brave space to engage artists and non-artists in reflection about the power of the artwork. Through the participants’ experience of the art and the moderated conversations that follow, connection and community are strengthened.

Here are what participants are saying about Artful Reflections:

“Artful Reflections is a gift to yourself. It’s a time to reflect using art as the vehicle.”

“So much insight on the way art moves people in different ways. We had such rich discussions and it was powerfully beautiful.”

“Unique opportunity to experience art and reflect upon its emotional impact.”
