Collaborating for the second year in a row, Athena Project, Milk Market, and Dairy Block are bringing you ”Women In Their Infinite Forms”, an arts installation exhibit curated especially for Women’s History Month. Using mannequin heads (or “wo-mannequin, as we like to say!), we’re inviting 10 artists to design and build an artful interpretation based on this theme. Visit Athena Project’s website for full details on this paid commission opportunity; deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 2nd at midnight.
Mannequin heads will be displayed at various locations around the Dairy Block during March, with all proceeds donated to Athena Project as part of our annual fundraiser celebrating women artists in all disciplines. A FREE opening celebration, featuring live performances and the “Art Strut” Artist Reception, takes place in the alley of the Dairy Block on Saturday, March 5 between 3pm-5:30pm.
WHAT: Using a provided mannequin head and materials of your choosing, create an art piece with the theme of Women In Their Infinite Forms

WHEN: If selected, your piece will be part of an Installation taking place at the Denver Milk Market from March 5-31, celebrating Women’s History Month.
