Join Athena Project for a series of FREE family-friendly performances and workshops this September at Anythink Libraries!
We’re hosting artBURSTS events at several Anythink Library locations from September 3-12 to compliment the After the End immersive theater production happening at the Anythink Huron Street location and to celebrate the performing arts throughout the Anythink Library System.
September 3rd / 4pm / Anythink Bennett (495 7th St, Bennett, CO 80102) – Join acclaimed singer-songwriter Lauren King for a family-friendly concert to enchant all ages!
This is the latest series of events highlighting artists in our Curating Art for Impact program, which produces impactful and unique art with community partners. We uplift women, transgender, and nonbinary artists and PAY THEM for their work.
Our Artists
Lauren King
Originally from Rhode Island, Lauren is a singer-songwriter, teacher, and performer. In 2021, Lauren published the album “The Wolf is Back,” including all originals. The genre she focuses on for writing is folk/blues, but her latest release, “SECRET LANGUAGE,” is an EDM piece in collaboration with LA based DJs. You can see Lauren performing in the Denver area, as well as the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton in Vail.
