Artfully Minded Workshop – Earth Day Creative Writing

In honor of Earth day, award-winning playwright Olivia Buntaine will be teaching a creative writing workshop centered around nature. Our Artfully Minded Workshops seek to encourage all youth, 6th -10th grade, to tap into their creativity, gain confidence, and do what they love in the arts. These workshops are offered monthly in partnership with Blossom House’s youth space in the Westwood neighborhood and are free to all participants.

Olivia Buntaine

Olivia Buntaine (she/her) believes in theatre, poetry, and prose that brings everyone to the table – starting with those of us who haven’t been invited. Writing most often about the worlds of girlhood, queerness, and mythologies, Olivia’s award-winning plays have lived on stages in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Denver. Olivia believes fiercely that discovering theatre and writing as a teenage girl saved her life, and that girls and nonbinary youth will save the world.
