Artfully Minded Workshop

Come for the pizza, stay to make your own podcast! Join audio journalist Ann Marie Awad for Pizza & Podcasts, a one-hour workshop at 5pm on May 12 at Blossom House, 3300 W Nevada Place. Attendees will learn how to write a short story and turn it into their own podcast, using Blossom House’s Nabi Youth Space recording studio. This event is FREE, but registration is appreciated.

Ann Marie Awad is an independent audio journalist and podcast creator based in Denver. With more than 15 years of experience in the news business, Awad has reported stories for NPR, Colorado Public Radio, KUNC, The Colorado Sun, and more. Creator and host of the award-winning podcast On Something, Awad is also a TEDx speaker, a journalism instructor, and editorial director for the Institute for Independent Journalists.
