This unique workshop is designed for actors, writers, and directors to develop rich, textured characters by using a series of writing prompts combined with physical techniques that focus on female characters. You will be guided through the history of the female lens and build on several prompts that will help develop characters for all types of creative formats.

Karen Cecilia She/Her/Hers (Playwright, Screenwriter) is based in Brooklyn. Her work has been seen in NYC at 3LD, La Mama, HERE Arts Center, Dixon Place, Theater For The New City, Theatre Odyssey, Sarasota FL, The Coalescence Theatre, Illinois and The Firehouse Theatre, Richmond, VA and Jermyn Street Theater, London England. Karen has an MFA in Playwriting from The Actors Studio Drama School, and is a member of the the Playwright/Directors Workshop at The Actors Studio NYC, The Dramatists Guild of America and The League Of Professional Theater Women.
