Women Equality Day Celebration at Center for Colorado Women’s History

Join Athena Project and the Center for Colorado Women’s History as we celebrate Women’s Equality Day! Come for a free tour of the museum, enjoy pie and live music by La Paloma in their garden from 11am-1pm, and connect with the League of Women’s Voters! While you are there, check out UndergARTments Revealed, an art installation specially curated by Athena Project, as part of the Museum’s annual exhibit, Rumors of Bloomers.
Women’s Equality Day is celebrated in the United States on August 26 to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex.
This is a FREE event, but please RSVP to let us know you’re coming! For more information, please visit the Center for Colorado Women’s History website here.

Drawing musical inspiration from the Indigenous languages of the Americas, the moodiness of swinging jazz, and the movement of Latin culture.
