Heather Beasley is a dramaturg, playwright, and director. As Associate Artistic Director at Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado (BETC), she oversees new play development and playwriting programs. She teaches Dramatic Writing and Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Denver. Her play “The Gentle Life Changing Magic of Burning it All Down to the Ground” premieres at Benchmark Theatre this fall. Past work: Imagination Makers Theatre Company, Seattle Public Theatre, CU-Boulder’s Eklund Opera, and Nebraska and Colorado Shakespeare Festivals.
