Artful Reflections is Athena Project’s latest program, designed to uplift women artists. Because the pandemic led to isolation and disconnection, we offer this opportunity to connect artists with each other and their communities.
This monthly event, open to artists and non-artists, invites reflection about the artwork. The participants’ experience of the art and the moderated conversations that follow strengthen connection and community.
Taking place at a gallery (owned or curated by women* artists), participants have the opportunity to let the art in as a way to increase understanding of themselves and others. Featured women* artists are invited to listen to the impact of their art.
Join us for our next iteration of this program, at the 40 West Gallery curated by Angela Astle and Anne Myers of Athena Project in collaboration with Melissa Furness & Anna Kaye with PINKPROGRESSION on October 19th at 6:30pm-8:30pm.
